David Suzuki,

David Suzuki is one of the world's most recognizable and influential environmentalists. In a distinguished public career spanning more than thirty years, he has done much to raise public consciousness about environmental issues and galvanize efforts to preserve and protect our natural world. For his work Suzuki has received a UNESCO Prize for Science, as well as the United Nations Environmental Medal. He is the host of the award-winning television show The Nature of Things.

His research focuses on the environmental, social, and equity impacts of global production systems, and new strategies of democratic governance over these systems. His new company, Taoit is a new information systems that informs consumers of the impacts of products and companies. The company is venture funded and will launch later in 2008.

Dr. Carrie Armel holds a joint PhD in Psychology and Cognitive Science with additional training in neuro-economics and behavioral epidemiology. He served as the Chairman of the San Francisco Mayor's Task Force on Green Buildings.
