Wire Your Own Grid-Tied PV System

Students will learn to assemble an operational non-battery grid-tied PV system (the most common type) from a professional installer. In addition to the wiring, learners will also look at the various options for mounting, and an array of inverters, PV modules, and meters. Basic grounding and inverter operation and safety will also be covered.
Build An Electric Vehicle

This half-day class will discuss the many facets of building or converting an electric vehicle (EV), including the skills and materials required, costs, and other necessary resources. Or, for those who simply want to learn more about EV ownership, we’ll also uncover finding existing EV’s, and discuss why EV’s are the most likely vehicles of the future.
